An American-Brazilian native, Jessica Janner Castro is a journalist known for working as an evening news anchor for KING 5. She is currently in a relationship with her boyfriend named Ryan Walter. She is also a graduate of the University of Southern California and America Military University.
Castro began her career as a journalist while still a student at USC. She used to intern for ABC affiliate, WABC in New York. From August 2004 to May 2008, she worked as a reporter and anchor for Annenberg TV News at the University of South California.
She then joined Nextar Broadcasting Group in Amarillo, Texas, shortly after graduating from USC. Between October 2008 until October 2011, she worked as an anchor for KCIT Fox 14 news and a reporter for KAMR 4 news in Amarillo.
Castro also spent three years as a morning anchor on NBC-owned KAMRA, from October 2008 to October 2011. Janner joined KTNV in October 2011 after leaving NBC and worked as a general assignment news reporter until April 2013, when she was promoted to morning and lunchtime anchor.
