Isla Fisher Biography and Wiki

Isla Fisher is an Australian actress and author. She rose to fame after starring in television advertisements at an early age, portraying Shannon Reed on the serial series Home and Away from 1994 to 1997, for which she won two Logie Award nominations. She is also the author of two young adult novels as well as the Marge in Charge series.

Fisher’s first on-screen appearances were in advertisements on Australian television when she was nine years old, and she made her professional acting debut in 1993 with two guest-starring parts in the children’s television series Bay City and Paradise Beach.

At the age of 18, she published two teen novels, Bewitched and Seduced by Fame, with the assistance of her mother.

Fisher had her debut in the comedy Wedding Crashers (2005), co-starring with Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson as the supposedly sexually active and intelligent younger daughter of a politician who falls in love with an irresponsible wedding crasher.
