Harry Enten is a well-known American news journalist who works as a Senior Data Reporter for CNN and hosts the “Margins of Error” podcast, where he focuses on data-driven journalism. Previously, Harry worked for CNN Politics as a Senior Writer and Analyst, covering politics with a concentration on poll data and election patterns.
Harry was a senior political reporter at FiveThirtyEight before joining CNN. During his tenure at FiveThirtyEight, Harry was known as the “Whiz Kid” for his keen analysis of politics utilizing polling data paired with demographics and history. He also contributed to The Guardian.
Harry, along with Carl Bialik and Walter Hickey, was among the first employees Nate Silver recruited when FiveThirtyEight relaunched as an ESPN property. Harry mostly covered politics for FiveThirtyEight, but he also covered weather.
He does, however, co-host the FiveThirtyEight politics podcast with presenter Jody Avirgan and fellow co-hosts Nate Silver and Clare Malone.
