Griffin Gluck Biography
Griffin Gluck is an American actor, he is best recognized for his appearances in Red Band Society, Private Practice, and Back in the Game as Charlie, Mason Warner, and Danny Gannon. He also played Gabe in the Netflix series Locke & Key and co-starred as Sam Ecklund in both seasons of the Netflix mockumentary series American Vandal.
Gluck began acting when he went to the Palisades Playhouse with his elder sister, Caroline, for a summer children’s showcase of Guys and Dolls. Time Out, a short film co-produced by his father and directed by Robbie Chafitz, was his first major role as a three-year-old.
In 2011, he got his big break when he played Michael in the film Just Go with It, for which he was nominated for a Young Artist Award. Later, he was cast as Mason Warner on Private Practice, and he was promoted to series regular. After the show was canceled, he was cast in a 20th Century Fox TV pilot called Back in the Game. It was chosen for a series. In November 2013, the show was canceled.
Gluck co-starred as Charlie on the Fox series Red Band Society in 2014, in which his character is the show’s narrator while in a coma. He was cast in an NBC pilot, Cuckoo, in March 2015, but the show was not picked up for a series. Gluck made his film debut as Rafe Khatchadorian in the 2016 film Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life, based on James Patterson’s best-selling novel.
