Erin’s first job as a meteorologist was with KOMU-TV, As a weekend evening meteorologist right after she graduated. She then moved to WOI-TV in Des Moines, Iowa as a weekday morning Meteorologist & Reporter.
She later headed to KMBC-TV in Kansas City, Missouri, followed by a year at KDVR – FOX31 before returning back to KMBC. After a good ten years at KMBC, She left in January 2017. Her love for broadcasting was not dimmed and She is back in the air, as a reporter and meteorologist for the KCTV5 News team in March 2018.
On her return to television, She said she was “so excited to be back delivering Kansas City’s weather. She loves that she is part of people’s morning routines and helps them prepare for the day with her weather reports. She won an Emmy Award in 2006 whilst with KMBC.
After leaving her KMBC morning meteorologist job in January 2017, Little announced she was hired as the director of communications for the Shawnee Mission School District. But in December, Little submitted her resignation. She later joined the KCTV5 StormTrack 5 weather team.
