Erin Andrews Biography
Erin Andrews is an American television journalist, sportscaster, television personality, and actress. She works as a sideline reporter for Fox NFL. She rose to prominence as a journalist for the American cable sports network ESPN after joining the network in 2004.
Andrews began working for ESPN as a reporter for ESPN National Hockey Night in April 2004. She has also worked on the College World Series, the Little League World Series, and the Great Outdoor Games.
Andrews began her career as a sideline reporter for ESPN College Football Saturday Primetime and Big Ten college basketball games, and in 2005, her job expanded to include sideline reporting for ESPN College Football Thursday Primetime and Major League Baseball.
From 2008 to 2010, she worked as a reporter for ESPN and ABC’s live coverage of the Scripps National Spelling Bee. Andrews appeared with partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy in the tenth season of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars in 2010. They came in third place out of 11 couples.
In January 2011, Andrews inked an endorsement contract with Reebok to advertise the ZigTech brand. As a sideline reporter for the 2011 Rose Bowl, Andrews witnessed Texas Christian University Horned Frogs football players slipping on the turf due to the newest Nike sneakers they were wearing.
Due to the conflict of interest that led Andrews to terminate her endorsement arrangement with Reebok before the end of 2011, ESPN published new endorsement guidelines for its writers.
She joined Fox Sports in 2012 and has since become the network’s top sideline reporter for NFL broadcasts. She rose to prominence after finishing third on the eleventh season of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars in 2010, and she eventually co-hosted the show with Tom Bergeron from 2014 to 2019.
