Emily joined the WDHD 7 News Team in February 2020. Emily came to New England from St. Louis where she was a weekend evening anchor not far from her small hometown of Waynesville, Missouri.

Before that, she anchored and reported in Sacramento, California, and South Bend, Indiana. She is a graduate of the University of Missouri Emily’s career started at an NBC affiliate, KOMU TV 8 in Columbia, Missouri.

In 2011 she had the opportunity to work for WBND, ABC57 News as a multimedia journalist. Her responsibilities included writing, editing, shooting, and posting to the web. In 2012, she was assigned to be the weekend news anchor/reporter at the same network.

In 2013, she became the morning anchor and reporter there co-anchoring the 4:30 a.m. to 9 am weekday newscast. In January 2015, Emily started working for KXTV/ABC10 in Sacramento, California Area as a weekend anchor and multimedia Journalist.

Here she reported the 5 p.m. 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. broadcasts up until January 2017. Pritchard later moved to KMOV-TV, a CBS affiliate network based in the Greater St. Louis Area, Missouri as an anchor/ reporter.
