Lambert currently serves as a news anchor and reporter for KCRA where she covers a variety of stories and topics from all around Stockton and Sacramento. She began working for KCRA as a reporter and morning host in July 1995. She later joined Ron Jones as the weekend anchor until 2002. Lambert then co-anchored the newscast’s weekend evening editions with Kevin Riggs. In early 2006, she exchanged roles with John Alston to anchor the 6 and 11 p.m. newscasts. Gulstan Dart has linked up with her now.

She began her television career at KEYT in Santa Barbara, where she worked as an anchor, reporter, and producer. She worked as an anchor and reporter for KTMS-AM radio news while still in school.
