Danya Bacchus is an American journalist who presently works as a freelance correspondent for ABC News in Los Angeles. She previously worked as a reporter and anchor for NBC in San Diego before joining the ABC News team in Los Angeles.
Bacchus worked for a local North Carolina station after graduation until it closed down. She moved to Washington after the station closed and worked as a freelancer for entertainment shows including BET’s Bobby Jones Gospel. She was working as a production assistant, ministering to the requirements of the actors.
She worked as a reporter and anchor for NBC in San Diego, California, before joining ABC News in August 2016. She worked as a general assignment reporter at WREG in Memphis, Tennessee, before joining NBC. Bacchus worked as an anchor/reporter at WMDT, a local ABC station in Salisbury, Maryland, before going to Memphis.
