Melas began her work as a news assistant at CNN. Because of her dedication to her career, she was promoted to Senior Entertainment Reporter for the site. Furthermore, Chloe had her own weekend entertainment section on New York City’s WNYW television channel in 2010. In 2011, she also became the host of Penske Media Corporation’s ENTV.
Chloe covered a press event for the film Going in Style, starring Morgan Freeman, in 2017. She was pregnant at the time and said that Freeman made many indecent statements to her before and after the incident.
Melas also reported the event to CNN, which notified a third-party investigative section through the Warner Brothers human resources department. The inquiry determined that Chloe’s charges were unsubstantiated.
Further inquiry revealed, however, that Chloe “baited and encouraged alleged ‘witnesses’ to say awful things about Mr. Freeman and sought to persuade them to corroborate her predisposition against him,” according to Freeman’s lawyer.
