A Detroit, Michigan native, Carolyn Clifford is a 20-time Emmy Award-winning journalist known for working for WXYZ News. She is married to her husband, Gregory F. Goss, with whom she has three children. 

Carolyn is a vastly recognized broadcast journalist who is currently working for WXYZ News. Here, she provides news coverage for the 4, 6, and 11 pm newscasts as an anchor. Initially, she joined the station as a health reporter and a weekend anchor.

Afterward, Clifford was promoted to the position of co-anchor for the “7 Action News This Morning” news at 11 pm. Likewise, she served as the host of the “Healthy Living Sunday” health program. During this time, her show received multiple Emmy-nominated.

Previously, Carolyn worked at WPGH-TV as an anchor in Pittsburgh PA. While here, she was the anchor for the 10 p.m. newscast. In addition, she was hired by WLFL-TV in Raleigh, NC., where she worked as the anchor of the 10 p.m. news.
