Camila Bernal is an American journalist. She is currently employed by CNN as a National Correspondent stationed in the Los Angeles bureau of the network. She began working for the network in 2018 as a correspondent for CNN Newsource, where she was the first to provide 1,000+ local news partners with digital material and live English and Spanish language reporting.

She has previously worked for KRON since September 2017 as a general assignment reporter. But Camila also worked for KEYE-TV for two years as a bilingual reporter. At KMID in Midland, Texas, she worked as a reporter and anchor as well. She also had prior experiences working as a freelance reporter for the Miami Herald and a digital producer for Miami’s NBC affiliate, WTVJ.

In January 2012, She began working full-time as a news producer for Telemundo after earning her degree from FIU. She then went on to work as a reporter for WLRN from January 2013 to March 2013. Camila was one of 23 young journalists from across the country who worked on stories in Tucson, Arizona, and Mexicali with reporters and editors from The New York Times and The Boston Globe.

She has concentrated her reporting on immigration, politics, and the oil and gas business despite shooting, writing, and editing her stories for television and the web. Most importantly, She quit her reporting job at KRON after six months to take a national correspondent post at the station in the San Francisco Bay Area.
