Caleb McLaughlin is an American actor well known for playing the role of Lucas Sinclair in the Netflix series Stranger Things. His role made him win the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series.

McLaughlin began his career as a dancer and theatre actor. His first role was in the opera Lost in the Stars in Cooperstown, New York at the Glimmerglass Opera House. He then starred in The Lion King on Broadway as Young Simba.

He later got minor roles in television series such as What Would You Do?, Unforgettable, Forever, Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, and Shades of Blue. McLaughlin debuted in the film Concrete Cowboy as Coltrane “Cole” which he starred alongside Idris Elba and Jharrel Jerome.
