Brooke Katz is an American news journalist currently working for CBS DFW as a news anchor and reporter. Before joining CBS DFW, Katz worked at WCNC-TV as the evening anchor for the 4 pm newscast. She was also an Anchor, Traffic Anchor, and Reporter for WHAS-TV.

Katz began her journalism career in 2007 as a Sales Development Coordinator for WCBD-TV. She then became an anchor and reporter for WCBD in 2008. She moved to WHAS-TV in November 2010 where she worked as an Anchor, Traffic Anchor, and Reporter. She anchored the early edition of Good Morning Kentuckiana at 4:30 am and Noon and anchored traffic from 5 am to 7 am.

Katz then moved to WCNC TV in 2015 initially as an Anchor, Reporter, and Traffic Reporter. She anchored the 4;30 am newscast and anchored  NBC Charlotte at noon. She became the noon and 4 pm anchor in 2017 and later an evening anchor in 2018. Katz now works at CBS DFW as an anchor and reporter.
