When Babineaux was two years old, her parents split. Her mother, Shannon Miller, and stepfather, Louis Miller, a pastor at House Of Freedom in Lafayette, Louisiana, raised her. She began singing at the age of three and graduated from Northside High School in Lafayette, Louisiana in 2012 as a member of their graduating class.
She was a part of the volleyball and track teams in high school, receiving a scholarship to McNeese State University, but she only lasted for one semester since her interest in athletics dwindled. She is 5 feet 6 inches tall. Babineaux eventually landed on music and academics while transferring to the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where she is studying criminal justice.
