Bárbara Bermudo Biography
Bárbara Bermudo is a Puerto Rican journalist and actress. She worked for Univision as a television host. She hosted a Spanish-language news program that covers predominantly human interest stories called Primer Impacto. Due to this, she became more famous among Hispanic people.
Bermudo was the anchor of Primer Impacto, a Spanish-language news program until she was fired on January 5, 2017. She joined the show in 2002 when the show’s original host Mara Celeste Arrarás left and co-hosted it with Myrka Dellanos until she left in 2004, as well as with Fernando Del Rincón until he was fired in 2008.
Bermudo presented Lo Que No Viso de Premios Lo Nuestro (What You Didn’t See at Lo Nuestro Awards) and Noche de Estrellas in 2004 and 2005, respectively (The Night of Stars).
Bermudo appeared in the 2003 film Chasing Papi as herself, with Roselyn Sanchez, Jaci Velasquez, and Sofa Vergara. She has appeared on the television shows El Show de Cristina, El Escandalo del Mediodia (The Midday Scandal), and Que Bodas (What a Wedding). She is one of the eight cover models for People en Espaol’s “50 Most Beautiful People” issue in 2007.
