Anne Doyle Biography
Anne Doyle is an Irish news journalist and presenter who previously worked as a newsreader for RTÉ for 33 years of service. Presently, she is the president of the Michigan chapter of the International Women’s Forum.
Anne is a vastly recognized broadcast journalist and presenter. Previously, she worked as a newsreader for Raidió Teilifís Éireann (RTÉ). During this time, she was one of the sole anchors of the station’s Nine O’Clock News in 1997.
Most noteworthy, Doyle served as the co-presenter of Crimeline and as an evening anchor for television news programs. She also worked as a sports journalist for Ford Motor Company back in the 1980s. Afterward, she served as the director of North American Communications.
It is known that Anne was hired by United Press International as a news editor. Here, she served as a writer for the Detroit Free Press in the Atlanta bureau. While there, she did numerous sports coverages including NASCAR, NFL, MLB, and Formula One.
On the other hand, Doyle was part of the Detroit Sports Broadcasters Association as an Honorary Lifetime Member. Citing her career, she was named one of the 100 Leading Women in the Auto Industry by Automotive News.
