Andy Ngo is an American conservative journalist, author, and social media personality. He is well known for covering and videotaping demonstrators. He is also the editor-at-large of a Canadian conservative news website called The Post Millennial.

Ngo worked as a multimedia editor for the Portland State Vanguard, a student newspaper while attending Portland State University (PSU). In 2016, he covered a Don’t Shoot Portland protest in which a man drew a gun on a throng of demonstrators.

The program was disrupted by student protesters who used no-platforming tactics, forcing the discussion to finish early. Ngo shared photographs and video footage of students gathered on the platform, chanting and playing music to drown out Sommers’ speech.
