Aaron Goldsmith is an American sportscaster. He has been a play-by-play announcer for the Seattle Mariners Radio Network since 2013. In addition, he does some of the lead play-by-play on selected games for Root Sports Northwest during the Mariners baseball season.

Goldsmith was born and brought up in the USA by his loving parents. However, he has not disclosed any further information on his family or his siblings. He graduated from Principia College with his history degree.

Following graduation, Goldsmith started working as a play-by-play announcer intern with the Gateway Grizzlies. He would announce each home game for two innings in 2007. The Bourne Braves offered him an unpaid internship after which he was hired by the Portland Sea Dogs for a position that was similar. He was a play-by-play broadcaster for the Sea Dogs for a brief while before switching to the Frisco

Additionally, he would oversee broadcasting and public relations for the group. Although his play-by-play style is frequently compared to Vin Scully’s, Goldsmith credits his style to his partnerships with Dave O’Brien and Eric Nadel. He was a last-minute replacement for Gus Johnson on December 26, 2021, who was joining Aqib Talib for an NFL game.
