Vicky Nguyen is a Vietnamese-American investigative journalist who currently works at NBC News New York. She joined the Station in April 2019 as their main investigative and consumer correspondent. Prior to working at NBC, she served as an investigative reporter for KNTV.

Nguyen began her career in Orlando, Florida, with Central Florida News 13. She shot, wrote, and edited her tales before presenting live broadcasts while she was there. Thereafter, she moved to KOLO-TV an ABC affiliate in Reno, Nevada.
In January 2007, Nguyen returned to Northern California and began working as a freelance reporter for NBC Bay Area. She was employed full-time as a special assignment reporter for KNTV shortly after that. KNTV finally promoted Nguyen to anchor/senior investigative reporter. She worked closely with the NBC Bay Area Investigative Unit while in that position.
