Tyler Cole is an American musician, singer, songwriter, and actor. He is well known for being the girlfriend of Willow Smith the daughter of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith. He co-produced Willow’s third album WILLOW.
Cole rose to prominence after releasing his debut album, ‘Stranger,’ in May 2016. On October 13, 2017, the follow-up second album, ‘We’re in Love & the World Is Ending,’ was published, and included the track ‘Sidney Poitier,’ named after the iconic actor.
They have been professionally working together with Willow for a long time and co-produced the track ‘Afraid,’ which was released on November 1, 2015, and included both of their vocals. She later appeared on his debut album’s tracks ‘Pray For Me’ and ‘Sorrow.’
In 2015, he starred in the film ‘Between the Miles,’ about homeless youths. He began playing the recurring character of Royale in the Netflix comedy series ‘Family Reunion’ in 2019. He directed the documentary ‘The Father Complex,’ in which he also appeared as himself. On April 17, 2019, he revealed on his Instagram profile that he had joined the ‘Screen Actors Guild’ that day.
