Siafa Lewis is an American sports journalist working for NBC 5 as lead sports anchor and reporter. He has been the anchor of the Sunday morning Newscast since 2018. Before joining becoming a sports anchor, Lewis worked as the morning news anchor for NBC Chicago.
Since August 2020, Siafa has co-anchored the station’s Sunday morning newscasts. He was a sports anchor for the NBC station in New York until joining NBC 5 in May 2014. Siafa worked in New York as a co-host of LXNY, anchored sports, and was a correspondent for NY Live, Open House NYC, 1st Look NY, and I Do.
He has worked as a general assignment reporter for WCAU, an NBC station in Philadelphia, during his sports media career. He also covered all 9 NYC area Rutgers football, college basketball, professional boxing, and professional teams as a reporter on Giant beat in New York.
Siafa has also co-hosted Mets Weekly, a weekly magazine show on SNY. In addition, Siafa began his broadcast career as a Weekend Traffic Reporter for the NBC station in Philadelphia. He enjoys mentoring and working with children.
