During her college studies, Paula volunteered at the Juvenile Justice Project of Lousiana in 2006. Between 2007 and 2008, she served as a legal intern at the Chester County District Attorney’s office.
She then moved to Fox29 in Philadelphia working as a reporter. In January 2010, Reid relocated to New York City and was hired as an intern at CBS News in their investigative Unit. This marked the debut in her long term at CBS News.
However, Paula did not hold that position for long as she became a production secretary for CBS Evening News in June the same year. She then held the position for one year before assuming another role of a digital journalist based out of New York City from 2011-2014.
