She first learned how to play guitar one Saturday morning in a Tv show hosted by Weber (PBS presenter). Nanci later started writing her own songs because she discovered it was easier than learning how to play those of other people. Her first professional performance was on a thank-giving holiday at Austin’s Red Lion Club when she was 14 years old.
