Mearl Purvis is an American journalist working for FOX13 News as a news anchor. She is the weeknight news anchor anchoring at 5 pm, 6 pm, 9 pm, and 10 pm. Previously, she worked as a reporter and news anchor in Charlotte, New Haven, Nashville, and Jackson, MS.

Throughout her career, she has journeyed through various cities, making her mark as a talented reporter and anchor. Starting in Charlotte, she honed her skills and passion for journalism. Her next destination was Nashville, where she continued to excel in delivering news stories with professionalism and grace.
