Marie Drucker is a French journalist, author, radio, and television personality. She has previously worked for France 2 as the co-presenter of Rince ta baignoire in 1999. She has also worked for I-Télé, a 24-hour news channel as a news anchor. From 2008, Marie works for France 2 as the weekend news anchor.
Drucker’s journalistic career began in 1994 as a freelance correspondent for magazines such French Le Figaro and ELLE, before joining the Capa agency in 1997 to work on the Canal+ channel’s Qu’en pensez-vous? show. In 1999, she was a co-host on the France 2 show Rince ta baignoire.
Drucker then joined the newly created crew of I-Télé, a 24-hour news channel that first went on the air in November 1999, in August 1999, and remained with them until September 2003. She worked for Canal+, the Canal+ Group’s primary station, for the next two years.
Drucker then joined France 3’s Soir 3 evening news broadcast, where she became the primary newsreader. Drucker departed Soir 3 at the end of August 2008 to start a new job as a substitute anchor for France 2’s weekend news broadcasts.
