In 2004 Valladolid was hired as an editor and recipe stylist at Bon Appétit magazine. She also competed in the 2005 reality show The Apprentice: Martha Stewart, finishing fourth.

Relatos with Sabor, Valladolid cooking show, aired in the United States and Latin America on Discovery en Espaol.
