Prior to joining ABC 7, Sze worked as a television reporter in Binghamton, New York, Fresno, California, Philadelphia, and New York City in the early years of her career. She joined KGO-TV, an ABC affiliate station in San Francisco, in 1998.
Sze received an Emmy Award for Best Youth Segment in 1999. She won an Emmy Award for hosting KGO-“Profiles TV’s Of Excellence” in 2002. The San Francisco BayList magazine named her “Best News Anchor” in 2011. On weekday mornings from 4:30–7:00 a.m., she co-anchored KGO-ABC TV’s 7 Morning News with Eric Thomas.
