Kelly Avellino is an American journalist currently working for NBC12 News as an investigative reporter. She also worked for NBC 11 News before becoming an anchor for NBC12 News.

The FBI’s investigation into a decades-old case of a missing child was recently covered by a report that Avellino directed. She started out at the station working weekends as an anchor, reporter, and multimedia journalist. She spent time for the murder and abduction of Hannah Graham, a UVA student.
