Kelly Avellino is an American news journalist currently working for NBC12 News as an investigative reporter. She also worked for NBC 11 News before becoming a newscaster for NBC12 News.
Her investigative and consumer report is featured in the On Your Side Investigators unit. Most recently, Avellino led a report coverage of the FBI investigation of a decades-old missing child case. Initially, she joined the station as a weekend anchor, reporter, and multimedia journalist. During this time, she served the disappearance/homicide of UVA student Hannah Graham.
