Kashmir Hill is an American journalist currently working as a senior reporter for the Special Projects Desk at Gizmodo. She produces investigative work about Internet privacy, technology, and cybersecurity.
She began her legal career as a paralegal at Covington & Burling. She left the post after almost two years to work as a project manager for the National Press Foundation in Washington, D.C. As a result, she was hired as an interim correspondent for The Washington Examiner.
Her career shifted to journalism after two months of experience as a reporter, including numerous roles at Forbes, International Herald Tribune, Above the Law, and Fusion. She has been writing and reporting on technology and privacy concerns for Gizmodo since April 2017.
