Justin Bruce is an American news journalist currently working for KTNV 13 Action News as a meteorologist. He also worked for an ABC affiliate in Nashville before becoming a weather anchor for 13 Action News.
He worked at the ABC affiliate in Nashville, Tennessee since 2004 before moving to Southern Nevada. Bruce graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology in 2003.
Growing up in Louisiana, he was exposed to hurricanes and nor’easters, which stimulated his curiosity about the weather. He embraces the challenge of forecasting heavy monsoon storms and deadly desert temperatures after tracking tornadoes in the South.
When he is not busy chasing the storms, Justin and his wife can be found at the pool in the summer and the playground the rest of the year with their two young sons. Mountain biking in Henderson’s McCullough Range, listening to music, snow skiing when possible, cooking, and strong coffee are some of his favorite pastimes.
