Jordan Vandenberge is an American journalist working as a General Assignment Reporter at Eyewitness News WEHT/WTVW. He has won Numerous Regional Murrow awards for best hard news, investigative and sports reporting.
Vandenberge started his career at KBIA-FM (NPR) as a General Assignment Reporter. He has also worked at KOMU-TV (NBC) where he reported and turned stories with live shots daily. He also shot, wrote, and edited daily news packages with live shots. He transferred to NEWS25-WEHT where he served as a morning anchor as well as special assignments reporter.
Vandenberge joined Eyewitness News WEHT/WTVW in December 2011 as a senior reporter. After Nexstar Broadcasting’s acquisition of WEHT-TV and subsequent merger with WTVW-TV in late 2011, he became the senior reporter for the station.
His most memorable story is of a two-year-long investigation into questionable purchases by government leaders in a Western Kentucky County, which led to the federal indictment of the county judge-executive. I also did a series of stories from Paris Island, SC about a couple of USMC recruits that were going through boot camp.
