Brown is a news anchor for FOX 35 in the evenings. John is a well-known TV journalist, public speaker, host of a radio talk show, author, and inventor.
From 2009 until 2016, he co-anchored Good Day Orlando on FOX 35 with Amy Kaufeldt, and the two were named to multiple “Best Of Orlando” lists during that period. He was a reporter and anchor at KTVI-TV, FOX 2 in St. Louis before returning to Central Florida in 2021, and was nominated “Best Large Market News Anchor” by the Missouri Broadcasters Association in 2020.
Brown started working at KSPR-TV in Springfield, Missouri, in 1999, where he was named the morning show anchor of The Morning Scoop, a new broadcast. He was moved to evening news anchor in 2003 and stayed there till 2004. He earned the job as host of the nationally syndicated TV show The Daily Buzz, based in Orlando and aired in 150 towns throughout the country, after five years at KSPR.
In 2009, he joined KTVI, FOX 2, as an anchor and reporter. During this period, he also presented John Brown’s Mindset, a talk radio show on KTRS-AM.
