Joe Toohey Biography
Joe Toohey is an American journalist who works as an Anchor on FOX8 News Cleveland. He formerly worked for NBC News’ Meet the Press for over six years, hence becoming a producer and covering some of the country’s major political topics.
He went to events and debates to cover numerous election cycles and spoke with significant political and cultural figures, including former presidents. Additionally, Mr. Toohey received an Emmy for his reporting on enormous discarded statues of each US president. He intended to go from being behind the camera to being in front of it upon leaving NBC. Early in 2016, FOX5 in New York City hired Joe as a reporter.
Joe was hired as the station’s chief political reporter, leveraging his NBC political journalism experience to cover regional and federal elections. He was employed by FOX5 New York, where he contributed to the creation, introduction, and hosting of the station’s noontime show, “The Noon.”
He was thrilled to join the FOX8 News team as Elizabeth Noreika’s co-anchor for FOX 8 News at 7 p.m., and he plans to look forward to harnessing his political background and extensive knowledge in topics such as space and technology.
