Bourne is a recognized investigative journalist whose work has led to improvement at the federal, state, and municipal levels. In August 2019, she joined the Tampa Bay 10 team. She is the host of the YouTube investigative series What’s Brewing? The Reporter-Investigative category of the 2021 Suncoast Regional Emmy Award was won by Jenna.

Her Abuse of Access probe led to a reform in state law in 2021. It exposed structural problems with how government employees—including law enforcement personnel—handle highly sensitive personal data about Florida drivers. Due to this probe, the state legislature established a bill that tightened training requirements for all Florida law enforcement personnel and doubled the fine for improper use of state-run electronic databases.

In 2021, Jenna received the Florida Association of Broadcast Journalists’ Individual Achievement Award for Reporter in a Large TV Market. In the category of Reporter – Specialty Assignment in 2020, Jenna received a Suncoast Regional Emmy Award.
