Jenise Fernandez is a beautiful and talented American news journalist currently working for WPLG News (Local 10) as a news anchor and reporter. She also interned at WPLG while she was in college as well as worked at WEAR-TV in Pensacola before joining Local 10 as a full-time anchor and reporter.
After spending four years in the Deep South, Jenise joined the Local 10 News team in November 2014. Jenise began her career as a one-woman show reporter/fill-in anchor at KATC in Lafayette, Louisiana.
Jenise was nominated for a Suncoast Regional Emmy while there for her ongoing coverage of college student Mickey Shunick’s disappearance and murder.
