Jay Fonseca is a Puerto Rican radio host, journalist, political analyst, and lawyer. He worked for Telemundo Puerto Rico WKAQ-TV for 11 years before he left in July 2021.
Fonseca hosted Da a Da and Telenoticias on Telemundo Puerto Rico for eleven years until announcing his resignation on July 16, 2021. Fonseca graduated with honors from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez with a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting (2006).
He obtained a Juris Doctor (cum laude) from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law (2011). From 2018 until his retirement from Telemundo in 2021, he hosted his own investigative reporting show, “Jay y sus rayos x,” which will continue to air under the name “Rayos X.
