Jason Crabb is an American Christian music singer and musician. He has been the lead vocalist for The Crabb Family group. Crabb was nominated “Favorite Male Vocalist” at the first Harmony Honors Awards and “Favorite Young Artist” at the Singing News Fan Awards in 2000. As a soloist, he has performed widely with the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir.
Crabb has been the lead vocalist for The Crabb Family group for a long time however, the family retired as a group in 2007 to go their separate ways. He was then signed to Spring Hill Music Group as a solo artist. On June 30, 2009, his self-titled debut solo album was released.
It peaked at number 62 on the Billboard 200, number two on the Billboard Christian albums chart, and number one on Nielsen SoundScan’s Southern Gospel albums list. The New album was nominated for a Grammy in 2010 for Best Southern/Country/Bluegrass Gospel Album.
He is currently signed to Sony Music Entertainment’s Provident Label Group. Whatever the Road, his debut studio album with Reunion Records, is set to be released on September 18, 2015.
