Daniel joined the 13News Now team as a reporter and multi-skilled journalist in October 2020.He worked as a reporter and, subsequently, an evening anchor for CBS affiliate WMBD News in Peoria, Illinois, for several years before moving to Hampton Roads.
Eugene covered a wide range of topics in Central Illinois, including local and state politics, and created the station’s 4 p.m. program, which featured live, in-depth interviews with politicians and community leaders on pressing problems.
