Ed was tasked with leading storm-chasing operations for KTKA, which involved organizing and navigating several chase teams in Northeast Kansas. From there, Ed headed south to WJBF in Augusta, GA. While there, Ed covered the historic 2014 Georgia/South Carolina Ice Storm and the historic rains from Hurricane Joaquin in 2015.
His most recent work in Tampa, FL included assisting in the coverage of numerous major weather events, including Hurricane Matthew in 2016, Hurricane Irma in 2017, and Hurricane Michael in 2018.
