Dasha Burns is an American news anchor and journalist for NBC News who also serves as a producer best known for Sunday Today with Willie Geist 2016 and Weekend Today 1987.

Between March 2015 and May 2016, she worked as a writer and contributor for CNN. As a frequent writer for CNN.com on issues such as political campaigns, fair pay, gender inequality, and more, the American journalist provided unique and diverse viewpoints.

Dasha is now employed with NBC News. She has been at the station for almost four years and has helped lead coverage of big events such as Hurricane Harvey, North Korean missile tests, the London Bridge and Borough Market assault, and others. During weekly sessions, Dasha has provided important and original ideas.
