Christof Putzel Biography
Christoff Putzel is an American journalist and correspondent for Travel Channel as well as the Host of the AmericanJihadi podcast. He is a former reporter on Current TV’s investigative documentary series, Vanguard. He has also worked for Al Jazeera America’s news magazine America Tonight.
When Christof was a student at Connecticut College, he began his filmmaking career by creating the documentary “Left Behind,” which focused on AIDS-affected children in Kenya. The movie won over a dozen awards at film festivals, including the Student Academy Award, the David Wolper Award from the International Documentary Association, and the HBO Films Best Student Film Award.
