Milk Bar first opened its doors on November 15, 2008. Milk Bar had a team of only five workers when it originally started and was often open for 16 hours a day. Anderson Cooper came on Regis and Kelly in December 2009, proclaiming his love for Milk Bar and their Crack Pie.
By 2012, Milk Bar had expanded from one retail sales site in Manhattan’s East Village to nine in New York City, one in Toronto, Canada, three in Washington, D.C., and one in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. Milk Bar had 381 employees throughout North America as of February 2019.
