Christina Arangio Biography and Wiki
She began her career at News 12 Long Island after growing up in North Massapequa, New York. Christina was involved in the station’s coverage of the 1993 Long Island Railroad Massacre. Before moving to Albany, she worked as an anchor for an ABC affiliate in Orlando, Florida.
She was the anchor of live breaking news coverage of the Columbia space shuttle disaster, which helped the station win a journalism award. She’s also worked as an anchor/reporter in Pennsylvania for the ABC affiliate in Pittsburgh and two other network-affiliated stations.
She has covered the devastating aftermath of tornadoes and Category 3 hurricanes, as well as a deadly Amtrak derailment, TWA Flight 800 coverage, and campaign stops by Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush.
