Christian Fraser Biography
Christian Fraser is a British news journalist and writer who mostly focuses on news and current events. He is a senior news reporter for BBC News and co-host of the show formerly known as Beyond 100 Days.
As an investigative reporter for BBC Radio Live, Fraser started his professional career in broadcasting. He reported on the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq for two consecutive years, in 2002 and 2003.
Beyond 100 Days, a program co-hosted by Christian and Katty Kay since the inauguration of former US President Donald Trump airs every night at 7 p.m. on BBC News globally, as well as on BBC News Channel and BBC Four in the UK.
Along with that, he started his career in 1995 as a trainee reporter for Trinity Mirror, working for the Daily Mirror and Sunday Mirror. Before moving on to the BBC in 2000, he began working as a full-time correspondent in 1996 for the Daily Mirror.

In 2008, he moved to Cairo. When Israel conducted Operation Cast Lead in Gaza in 2007, Christian was the lone British journalist there. He stayed in Rafah, Palestine, for a week as Israeli forces destroyed the tunnels.
Christian served as the BBC’s reporter in Paris in 2010 and covered the Egyptian Revolution for the broadcaster. In 2011, he reported on the crisis in Libya, first from rebel-held Benghazi and then, as it went on, from Tripoli.
As Senior News Correspondent for the BBC News Channel, he came to London to cover the Russian takeover of Crimea. In 2015 and 2016, he gave live coverage of the unfolding terrorist attacks in France and Belgium. The BBC News Channel, BBC Breakfast, BBC World, and Radio 4’s PM show are now hosted by him.
