Cat Deeley (born Catherine Elizabeth Deeley) is an English television presenter, actress. and model. She hosted SMTV Live, a children’s program from 1998 to 2002, She replaced newsreader Lauren Sánchez as the host of the second season of the American reality show So You Think You Can Dance.
Cat hosted the children’s program SMTV Live and its spin-off chart show CD: UK from1998 to 2002, She later won a BAFTA Children’s Award for hosting SMTV Live. Deeley has also hosted the 2004 Brit Awards and Fame Academy on the BBC
Deeley has been the host of So You Think You Can Dance in the United States since 2006. She replaced newsreader Lauren Sánchez as the host. Her work there earned her five nominations for a Primetime Emmy.
Since 2003, Cat has been a leader of London’s Great Ormond Street Hospital for sick children. She was made a UNICEF UK ambassador In December 2009. She is known to be a West Bromwich Albion F.C supporter.
