Camacho Quinn Biography
Camacho-Quinn is a Puerto Rican-American track and field athlete, who specializes in the 100 meters hurdles. She competed in the 2016 Summer Olympics in the 100 meters hurdles event.
Camacho won a gold medal representing Puerto Rico at the Olympics 2021.. She becomes the second Puerto Rican to win a gold medal after Tennis player Monica Puig won Puerto Rico’s first gold medal in 2016. She completed with a time of 12.37 seconds at Tokyo’s Olympic Stadium.
Quinn won the 2016 NCAA title in the 110-meter hurdles while a freshman at Kentucky. When she was 19 years old, she competed at the 2016 Rio Olympics and led the pack in the semifinal heat but cut the eighth and ninth hurdles. She fell through the 10th and final hurdle to finish her Olympic run with a disqualification.
