Sam Brody Jenner is a television personality, model, and DJ jockey from the United States. He was born and reared in the California city of Los Angeles. Jenner had an appearance on the reality television series The Princes of Malibu in 2005, with his elder brother, singer Brandon Jenner, and his erstwhile best friend, Spencer Pratt.
He began dating Lauren Conrad, a main cast member of The Hills, in 2007 and rose to notoriety after getting cast in the show during the second season. His friendship with Pratt came to an end as a result of their brief romance. The next year, Jenner was cast in his own spin-off series, Bromance, in which he was supposed to find a replacement for Pratt. However, it was discontinued after its first season due to low ratings.
Conrad departed The Hills in 2009 to explore other possibilities, and he was replaced by Jenner’s ex-girlfriend, Kristin Cavallari. Their restored romance remained the series’ principal theme until its end the following year.
