In 2006, Uresti worked as a host for the Late Night Newscast. She then worked at Telediario Express, a program that ran from Monday to Friday, and Telediario Ultima Hora. From 2007 to 2014 Azucena appeared on the Institutional Telediario that was broadcast every night.
She was part of the En Voz Alta program in 2012, where she conducted, researched, and produced the different topics they dealt with. In 2018 Uresti worked on Telediario Fin de Semana and on Milenio TV. She was one of the founding hosts of Milenio Televisión and has worked there since 2008.
